Pilot injured after small plane crashes in front yard of New Jersey house

One person was left injured after a single-engine plane crashed in the front yard of a New Jersey house on Monday afternoon.

The pilot and sole occupant of a 2006 Mooney M20M plane that had taken off from the Piedmont Triad International Airport in Greensboro, North Carolina, was transported to a hospital to be treated for a head injury, said Manville Police Lt. John Crater, according to NJ.com. The plane crashed around 1:00 p.m. several blocks away from Central Jersey Regional Airport.
