NYC to allow businesses to reopen fully and resume 24-hour subway service

The country’s biggest city is ready to make a full comeback after a year under lockdown restrictions to fight the coronavirus pandemic.

New York City, which has more than 8 million residents, is set to resume its 24-hour subway service on May 17 and have businesses deemed nonessential, such as retail stores, entertainment venues, and other businesses, operate at full capacity.
