Good Samaritan rescues infant from bay after ejection from automobile crash

A good Samaritan jumped over a guardrail and into the bay on Sunday, rescuing an infant ejected from a car following a crash in Ocean City, Maryland.

Emergency crews were called at around 2:47 p.m. to respond to a crash on Maryland’s Route 90 bridge, the Ocean City Fire Department said in a Facebook statement.

The vehicle carrying the infant was halfway over the guardrail of the bridge when the child was ejected into the Assawoman Bay below. Officials say a good Samaritan jumped over and rescued the child before the child was flown
