Multiple officers injured during police chase in Georgia

At least three officers were shot following a police chase in Carroll County, Georgia, early Monday morning.

A policeman with the Georgia State Patrol stopped a “Nissan passenger car” at 3:30 a.m. after it was found to be driving 111 mph on a local highway, law enforcement revealed in a press conference. The vehicle initially pulled to the side of the road, but both the driver and the passenger fled, leading law enforcement on a chase that eventually resulted in a PIT maneuver.
