Actress and activist Rose McGowan said “chickens—” celebrities need to “clean house,” adding that Hollywood elites who profit off of “known monsters” are “monsters” themselves.
“Dear Hollywood, YOU MUST CLEAN HOUSE. If you are profiting from known monsters YOU are a monster. And to all you chickens— celebs I promise this, if you do not start blowing your g—— truth whistles you will fade away. We see you. The time is now,” McGowan tweeted Friday.
The message was in reference to abuse and bullying allegations against producer Scott Rudin, who worked on acclaimed movies such as No Country for Old Men, The Social Network, and The Truman
