The Manhattan District Attorney’s Office seized the financial records of the former daughter-in-law of a Trump Organization executive on Thursday as part of the criminal investigation into the former president’s private ventures.
Investigators collected the records at Jessica Weisselberg’s apartment, where she loaded three boxes and a laptop into a valet cart and wheeled them from her building to a black Jeep. Weisselberg was married to Barry Weisselberg, the son of the Trump Organization’s chief financial officer, Allen Weisselberg, from 2004 to 2018.
Weisselberg said she had seven boxes full of financial records from her ex-husband and father-in-law, some of which were obtained through her divorce. She was subpoenaed to
