The Arizona Republican State Party voted Saturday to re-elect Kelli Ward as chairwoman and moved to censure several state Republicans who had publicly criticized former President Donald Trump, such as former Senator Jeff Flake (R-AZ), and Cindy McCain, the widow of former Senator John McCain, as well the state’s Republican Governor Doug Ducey over his emergency orders to fight the coronavirus pandemic.
Ward narrowly won her re-election bid 51.5% to 48.5%.
