Phil Spector, the famed music producer who was later convicted of murder, died on Saturday at the age of 81.
California state prison officials said Spector died of natural causes at a hospital, according to a report by the Associated Press. Spector, who created the “Wall of Sound” method in music that combined harmonies, was convicted of murdering actress Lana Clarkson at his Los Angeles home in 2003.
Clarkson, who starred in several B-movies, was found shot to death in the foyer of Spector’s mansion. The musical guru was sentenced to 19 years to life in prison after a trial in 2009. Spector maintained that Clarkson
