Significant gender gap reported among those likely to take COVID-19 vaccine: Poll

There is a significant gender gap among those who report they are likely to take the coronavirus vaccine when it becomes available, a national poll found.

The survey, released on Thursday by Morning Consult and National Geographic, showed that women were significantly less likely to say they would take it than men.

Among the 2,201 people polled between Nov. 20-23, 43% of men said they were very likely to take the vaccine, and 26% said they were somewhat likely to take it. Within the same group, only 30% of women said they were very likely to take it, and 21% said they were somewhat likely to take it.
