The former CEO of clothing and shoe retailer Zappos, Tony Hsieh, has died at the age of 46.
Hsieh died Friday due to injuries he sustained in a house fire more than a week prior, said Megan Fazio, a spokeswoman for DTP Companies, an organization for which Hsieh was the visionary. At the time, Hsieh was in Connecticut while visiting family.
A man believed to be Hsieh was trapped in the basement of the home that caught fire before he was rescued by firefighters.
