Campaign sign wars an indication to Trump voters of coming surprise victory

WILKES-BARRE, Pennsylvania — With just 18 days until the Nov. 3 election, campaign signs and battles between neighbors about them are out in full force in the swing state of Pennsylvania.

Some Republicans see the large number of signs in support of President Trump as an indication of another surprise victory on the way. Others are reading the tea leaves about a lack of Trump signs. Either way, the physical environment is giving some clues that they believe refute polls showing Trump down in Pennsylvania by an average of 6.5 points.
