South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem said the coronavirus in her state has peaked despite not issuing lockdown orders.
“It looks like South Dakota’s #COVID19 spread peaked the latest of just about any state. Even so, we continue to be in good shape with only 5% of our ICU beds occupied by COVID patients,” Noem tweeted Tuesday. “It just goes to show that you don’t need lockdowns to be responsible and flatten the curve.”
