Police near Chicago believe bags of dismembered body parts linked to Kentucky homicide

Officials in northern Illinois are investigating a man suspected of transporting bags containing dismembered body parts from Kentucky on a Greyhound bus.

Police descended upon a home in the town of Markham on Tuesday after a family called to report the grisly discovery, which is now thought to be linked to a homicide in Louisville, Kentucky, WDRB reported.

According to investigators, a man, whose identity has not yet been released, recently traveled with two or three bags from Kentucky. Upon returning home, his family found it odd that he wasn’t unpacking his bags. Markham Police Chief Terry White said the man’s
