A software engineer for Google was arrested during rioting that took place in Portland, Oregon, over the weekend, according to a new report.
Zachary Ames Trudo, 32, was arrested and charged with assault, attempting escape, resisting arrest, and other lesser crimes, journalist Andy Ngo reported. Ngo has gained an online following in recent years through his reporting on anti-government demonstrations.
Trudo lists his profession as a software engineer at Google, according to his LinkedIn profile. Google did not immediately respond to the Washington Examiner’s request to confirm Trudo’s current status with the company.
