The Labor Department reported Friday that the 10-year expansion came to an end, as the economy shed 700,000 jobs in March. The report captured only part of the chaos. At least 10 million workers lost their jobs in the last two weeks alone.
With over 275,000 cases of COVID-19, America is the world’s hot spot, and deaths are rising quickly. The virus has killed more than 7,400 to date. More than 1,100 died just on Thursday.
