The Fox News special coronavirus town hall broke cable news records.

From 12 to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Fox News anchors Bill Hemmer and Harris Faulkner co-moderated a virtual town hall event with President Trump, Vice President Mike Pence, and other officials in the White House coronavirus task force, earning 4,409,000 overall viewers, according to Nielsen.

The event, which became the most-watched town hall event of all time, involved questions from both the moderators and viewers of Fox News. And the widely viewed event boosted the network’s prime-time numbers, with host Sean Hannity drawing in approximately 4,942,000 viewers overall.
