President Trump apologized to his family for having to tolerate the chaos that surrounded his impeachment for the past several months.
On Thursday, Trump held a gathering of Republicans to celebrate his acquittal by the Senate on Wednesday. During the speech, Trump thanked his family for standing by his side during the process.
“I want to apologize to my family for having them have to go through a phony, rotten deal by some very evil and sick people, and Ivanka is here and my sons and my whole family,” Trump said. “And that includes Barron, that includes Barron, who is up there as a young boy.”
