A surprise update for Mortal Kombat 11 will bring crossplay support to the game, but the feature is currently limited to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of NetherRealm’s fighting game. NetherRealm and publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment say they are testing out the feature that will put players into a cross-platform matchmaking pool for online brawls.
The feature is not yet live, but when crossplay is enabled for Mortal Kombat 11, it will be limited to Online Kasual game modes and available in designated Krossplay Online rooms. NetherRealm says crossplay is “currently in beta form.”
