BMW expects that the profit from selling electric models before 2025 will be equalized with the sale of cars with an internal combustion engine, said financial director of that company, Nikolas Peter.
This is the first suggestion of a major carmaker when counting on return on investment in the development of electric cars, Business Poslovni.hr reported.
In the next few years BMW plans to launch 25 electric and hybrid models. Namely, an increasing number of chargers will reduce the skepticism of customers towards the convenience of electric cars.
