France, Britain and Germany have sent an official diplomatic warning to Iran about the serious consequences that Tehran will face if it does not act in accordance with the 2015 nuclear agreement, two unnamed diplomats said today.

The three diplomats stated that the European signatories of the agreement submitted a diplomatic dash on June 22, while the two stated that the communication aimed at warring Iran, in particular, not to reduce its obligations under the agreement, Reuters reported.

For now, it is unclear what kind of consequences Iran could face if it does not abide by the agreement.

Iran has said it will not give more time to European forces after July 8 to save the nuclear deal.

Tehran also said it was prepared to threaten to enrich uranium to a higher level if Europe could not protect Tehran from US sanctions.
