Xbox One bundles, including a Fortnite bundle, are $50 off at most retailers

All Xbox One bundles, including Fortnite, Battlefield 5, and Forza Horizon 4 bundles are discounted by $50 at participating retailers, Microsoft announced in a Major Nelson blog post yesterday. That brings Xbox One S bundles down to $249 and Xbox One X bundles to $449.

The bundles, many of which were announced in Microsoft’s GamesCom 2018 presentation, throw in a free game download with the purchase of a console, saving you around $60 right off the bat. (The Fortnite bundle includes an exclusive skin set and about $20 worth of in game currency in addition to the free game.) Notably, the $50 discount applies to pre-orders on the Metro Exodus bundle, which was announced earlier this month and will include all three Metro Saga games.

This isn’t the best deal we’ve seen on Xbox One bundles — they were discounted by $100 around the holidays — but a $50 discount takes a nice chunk off the price tag of a new console and you’ll get a free game as well.

It’s also worth noting that some retailer bonuses still apply. Best Buy, for example, is throwing in a $76 gift card with purchase of a Fallout 76 bundle. And all Xbox One purchases at the Microsoft Store include a free download of Gears of War 4 and $10 off the purchase of an Xbox Wireless Controller and/or Xbox Live Gold membership.

A few of the bundles are discounted even further at Amazon, including the Fallout 76 bundle and NBA 2K19 bundle. However, several Xbox bundles are sold out at Amazon so you may not find the specific game you’re looking for.

All of the Xbox bundles currently available are listed below, along with the retailers where they’re discounted. Microsoft didn’t specify how long the deal is running — we’ve reached out for clarification and will update this post accordingly.
